The beloved children’s toy Sylvanian Families comes to life as a movie.

Sylvanian Families the Movie: A Gift from Freya will visit audiences in May, during Family Month, as an animated movie that the whole family can enjoy.

The Sylvanian Families dollhouse toy has been loved worldwide for an impressive 39 years since its first release in 1985. It boasts a unique world built around nature, family, and love, presented by the colorful animal characters of the beautiful Sylvanian village.

Sylvanian Families the Movie: A Gift from Freya is set in Sylvanian Village on the eve of the annual Starlight Festival. It depicts the heartwarming adventure of Chocolate Rabbit Freya, who sets out to find a gift that will delight her mother and their neighbors on her birthday.

Freya embarks on a quest across the village to find the perfect gift, clinging to a picnic mat with her friend Ralph as they soar through the sky. She also strives to make a musical instrument that her mother and Lyra will love.

Additionally, she promises a colorful array of fun and sights to see as she performs a beautiful serenade using raindrops falling from the sky to make all her neighbors happy with her friends.
