Yesterday morning, the North Korean defectors’ organization “Keunsaem” released 200 plastic bottles filled with rice, a one-dollar bill, parasiticides, and a USB. They used the currents heading north from Ganghwa Island.

This organization regularly conducts activities to send rice and USB drives to North Korea in plastic bottles through the Yellow Sea. On the 7th of the same month, they released 500 plastic bottles.

On the evening of the 20th, another North Korean defectors’ group, the Free North Korea Movement, also released 20 giant balloons containing flyers, USBs, and one-dollar bills from Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

Kim Yo Jong, the deputy director of the Workers’ Party of North Korea, revealed that their counteraction measures involved garbage balloons.
