The suspect in the shooting of Donald Trump has been revealed. The suspect is a 20-year-old Republican registered voter named Thomas Matthew Crooks from Pennsylvania.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) revealed in a press release on the 14th that the suspect had been confirmed as Crooks, a resident of Bethel Park in Pennsylvania.
Furthermore, according to a comprehensive report, Crooks is a registered member of the Republican Party. At the time of the incident, he attempted to shoot from the roof of a building 164 yards away from the outdoor rally stage of Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Crooks was shot in the head and killed by Secret Service snipers after the shooting.
Trump suffered one gunshot wound to his right ear during the shooting. He reported to be stable. While leaving the stage, Trump raised his fist to show he was safe. He also posted on his social media platform, Truth Social: “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound and shots and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
