The court has issued an arrest warrant for President Yoon Suk Yeol on charges of insurrection. This unprecedented move marks the first time in South Korean constitutional history that a sitting president has faced such legal action.

The joint investigation task force confirmed that the arrest and search warrants requested for Yoon were officially issued this morning.
