Amid the news that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump was shot, it has emerged that his supporters are getting tattoos depicting the scene of the incident.
Newsweek reported yesterday that Trump supporters are visiting tattoo artists to permanently engrave the image of Trump raising his fist after being shot on their body to cherish it forever.
According to the report, a tattoo artist shared a video on an X (formerly Twitter) account named Restricted Vids, where he had just finished tattooing an image of the bleeding Trump and his bodyguards with the American flag in between. The video has currently been viewed 360,000 times.
Another video shared by Ron Filipkowski, editor of MediaTouch.com, reveals a similar tattoo of the Trump. The word “FIGHT” was also added to this tattoo.
Another individual opted for a large tattoo of the famous photograph, placing it on his back beneath his left shoulder.
“Let’s go!” the shirtless man exclaimed to the camera, encouraging, “You get that back tattoo!” He then turned around to display his new ink proudly.
Newsweek reported that photographs and videos of various tattoo parlor customers have been circulating across social media. They noted that an image of Trump narrowly escaping a bullet that passed by his ear quickly became iconic.
Meanwhile, the photo of Trump raising his fist after being shot is being sold as a T-shirt both online and in shops in the U.S.
There are also T-shirts with the phrase “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT” added.
