Republican candidate Donald Trump’s rhetoric is becoming increasingly aggressive. After President Joe Biden’s exit, Trump launched a focused attack on Vice President Kamala Harris, using strong language to criticize her.
Harris is now considered a leading candidate for the Democratic nomination to replace Biden. On the 25th, at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, Trump referred to Harris as “the most incompetent and far-left Vice President in American history.” labeling her “as radical, left lunatic.” Following the attempted assassination, Trump emphasized unity and softened his rhetoric. However, that didn’t last long.
Trump stated, “They say something happened to me when I got shot; I became nice.” adding, “And when you’re dealing with these people, they’re hazardous people. You can’t be too nice.“
News outlets, including CNN, reported that most of Trump’s speeches at the rallies were criticisms of Harris.
The harsh rhetoric continued. Trump called Harris a “Marxist district attorney,” asserting, “Harris’ California socialism will permanently destroy the American Dream.”
Harris previously served as a prosecutor in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office, worked as a city attorney in San Francisco, and held the position of Attorney General.
